Cherokee County on I-575
Woodstock sits in Cherokee County along the I-575 corridor, north of the Cobb line, and it is one of the faster-growing places we cover. A compact downtown with a lot of newer subdivision housing around it.
Newer housing, different jobs
Where the rest of the metro calls about forty-year-old decks, a newer city calls about the other end of the cycle: packaging and construction debris from finishing a basement, furniture that did not fit the new house, and garages that filled within five years of moving in.
The light demolition here skews toward builder-grade decks, sheds, and above-ground pools rather than structures that have been standing for decades.
