Inside the Perimeter
Brookhaven sits inside I-285 in DeKalb County, which makes it one of the denser places we work. Apartments and townhomes along the corridors, older single-family streets behind them.
Density is the constraint
Everything here comes back to where a vehicle can sit. Shared alleys, assigned parking, townhome rows with no front driveway, and apartment complexes where the only option is a visitor bay for an hour.
That is not a reason to skip a dump trailer, but it is a reason to work out the drop spot before the booking instead of improvising.
Renovation debris
A lot of the older housing stock is being worked on. Kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-house renovations generate construction debris steadily, and on a tight lot that debris has nowhere to live while it waits.
Turnovers
Rental density makes unit clear-outs and eviction and foreclosure cleanouts regular work for property managers here, often several units at once.
